Going Hyper Local With Neighborhood Level Data
NAR and Maponics announced that having a mapped Property Listings and School Boundary Data Base will be a new feature through the REALTORS® Property Resouces for members in the National Association of REALTORS® in 2011.
I had the pleasure of reading through a test case provided online by the Vermont based company called Maponics. They will be providing location bases data mapping service that not only provides locations of our homes for sale but they have coupled this data base with local school attendance boundaries for the major metro areas around the US.
A spokesperson with Maponics illustrated an example of where specific home listings within particular community high school boundaries.
Being able to provide our clients with school age children this new informational mapping service will be a great benefit in providing a better service of visually linking property to school districts and particular school boundaries they ma have an interest in.
