This is a banner hanging up at the entrance to our San Diego Air and Space Museum. It speaks to a journey of our future. In real estate we are also on a journey to our own future and it has nearly as many twists and turns and potential obstacles and detours as one might expect to find in space travel.
I make this analogy because much of what we have known of real estate as it's core principles, while still very much in tact, we continue to face a barrage of new procedures, legal impediments and most assuredly financing obstacles never imagined. Each day brings the industry into and out of focus at the same time both with new opportunities and impediments.
While we know that there is a true and sustained value in our land, the variables of economic changes brought about by debt and monetary/financial changes throughout the world has made navigating the real estate universe less than comfortable at times. Yet, we know that real estate in a personal and real sense is very local and with specific knowledge, we can safely navigate that shorter distance.
Blogging here in our ActiveRain network does provide our real estate journey passengers a much better and knowledgeable ride and can greatly mitigate whatever turbulence may be encountered for a more pleasant journey and a soft landing.
