Our distinguished ActiveRain member Brian Brady of Worldwide Mortgage hosted the ActiveRain Soiree this past Friday at the beautiful Del Mar Racetrack . Reminiscent of two years ago when Brian hosted the last Soiree there, this group was smaller and I mostly did the picture taking.
Our first event hosted the guys from Sellsius, Rudy Bachraty and Joe Ferrara, and we were also joined by ActiveRain members from Orange and LA counties. Though our group this year was smaller, we still had a wonderful time getting together and I think everyone was fully animated and having fun as you can see in this photo of ActiveRain member Roberta Murphy. 
When I look at this photo, I see a beautiful Fraulein.
I was busy running back and forth from the Infield Pavilion to the track taking photos with my new telephoto lens, trying to get some photos that would help all of our ActiveRain Friends get a feeling for the horse racing at the Del Mar Racetrack.
I think everyone had a really nice time and we were all of the mind that we need to get together more often. Jeff Dowler and I discussed that we live about 25 minutes from each other, talk on the phone occasionally but hadn’t seen each since the last event that Brian hosted at the Del Mar Racetrack. We both committed to change that.
We all so appreciate Brain putting this together and maybe for our next get-together, it will be all of us hosting Brian and lovely wife for a dinner. It is never easy putting things like this together and in some ways it might have been easier to teach goldfish to swim in only one direction.
The attendees at the event were, Brian Brady and his wife, Roberta Murphy, Scott Murphy, Eric Murphy and Rachelle Garton, Carl Snyder, Robert Boyer and of course Jeff Dowler and myself. Through the day lots of others came to join the group. We dedicate this post to Brian Brady with a special Thank You.
