San Diego in the Spring has so many events coming up through the month.

The age of chivalry will be recreated right before your eyes.
Activities include several of Will Shakespeare’s new plays, battle pageants, music in the streets, jugglers and hundreds of costumed re-enactors performing in this giant outdoor play.

The festival route is saturated with over 300 vendor booths. A huge children’s area features rides for children of all ages. The Beer Garden not only includes local microbreweries, but also wonderful food fare from many restaurants of Old California Restaurant Row.

There is an East Village block party in celebration of the opening day of the baseball season. The event will have trade show merchandise, great music, a beer garden, a food court, live entertainment, and more! Free event. Don't forget to walk across the new Suspension Bridge!
San Diego Zoo The Butterfly Experience
April 6-10
You won't want to miss this annual right of Spring where thousands of Butterflies in multitudes of color will have Sprung to life. I will be there taking photos no doubt so look for me!

Home Decorating & Remodeling Show

This show features home improvement products and some very useful services offered by participating local businesses. This is one of the San Diego's largest home shows and the Del Mar Fairground's facilities are the best!

Annual CityBeat Festival of Beers

Over 30 local craft brewers will be offering samplings from a variety of their homegrown beers.

Canine Companions Balboa Park

A Festival for dogs and people. This event held at Balboa Par- Dog Park, features flyball, disc dogs, a K9 agility playground, contests, great shopping, delicious food and more! Peace, Love & Canine Companions dog walk precedes the festival.

Annual Encinitas Street Faire
April 9-10,
Over 400 unique booths in Downtown Encinitas off SouthCoast Hwy 101, featuring a little of everything and something for everybody. There will be children’s rides, four live stages, and the Karl Strauss Brewery beer garden guarantee that you’ll find fun for everyone in the family.

Annual Del Mar Antique Show & Sale
April 15-17,
More than 250 premier antique dealers showing their wares at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. There are dealers from all over California and the western United States and they will be selling the finest in antiques & collectibles. Appraisal service is also be available for $5 per item- great deal especially if you can carry the item in.

Seaport Village Spring Busker Festival
April 16-17,
This is the only Busker Festival in Southern California. This event is held at Seaport Village. If you have never attended, it is a blast. There will be professionals from across the country that will perform their bizarre talents from sword swallowing to knife throwing to pogo stick tricks and juggling unicycles. Come and enjoy an entire day of one-of-a-kind entertainment. Free to attend but the acts perform for tips and they deserve it! Don't miss this, it is an great amount of fun for everyone in the family!

Spring Fling & Egg Hunts

Liberty Station will be transformed into a land of Springtime beauty and fun. There will be an inflatable slide, bounce houses, games, giveaways, a scavenger hunt, food, music, raffle prizes, the Easter Bunny, and a huge egg hunt for the kids. A wonderful way to begin the celebration for this most important holiday that touches so many of our lives.
