Nearly 4000 collegiate, junior and master athletes from the US, Canada, Mexico and Europe are coming to San Diego this weekend to compete in this years annual crew rowing event.
The Crew Classic has long been the marquee regatta for rowing and was established in 1973. For many of these crews, the Crew Classic is the highlight of their competitive rowing careers and a competition for future Olympians, as well as for those new to the sport. Rowers will compete this year in over 100 races in various divisions. There is a link below of all the events and schedule.
The location of this event will be Mission Bay ( Crown Point and Ski Beach) and runs both Saturday March 31st and Sunday April 1st from 7:00AM to 7:00PM. For a complete schedule of the events, click here.
