The Stunning Central California Coastline

Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park is on the Central Coast of California in the area of Big Sur. This particular view is said to be the second most photgraphed location on the entire coast of California, the first being the famous Lone Cypress north of Carmel. The waterfalls is also said to be only one of two in the US that fall directly into an ocean. The colors are even more spectacular than they appear here.

One of the abundant plants here beside all the beautiful wild flowers is Poison Oak. If you haven't seen that plant, is it mixed in everywhere in great abundance here in Big Sur. Easily recognized by it's triple leaf pattern with prominent veins and shiny surface. I recognised it just when I was about to pick up my dropped camera lens cap. I have included a photo a photo below.
