I had the pleasure last night to hear this most magnificent music and it touched my heart. My first thoughts were to share this with you and it is my fervant hope that this will touch your heart as well.
I have long been a fan of Celtic Women and they are coming to San Diego for a concert on May 7th at the San Diego Civic Center and this song," O'America ", I am assured will be on the program.
The concert will feature their newest CD " Songs of the Heart".We have much in the way of wonderful music in this grand country of ours and we have much to be grateful for.
Please enjoy this magnifcent song "O'America" that was dedicated by the Celetic Women to the America we all love and cherish.

Thank you William, for the song of the day!
Lovely!
Hi Mike, Thank You, I thought this was so special, the sounds and the words are so moving.
Hi William...after watching Celtic Women ...You got me thinking of my favorite Scottish Celtic Fiddle Player Natalie MacMaster and I just did a wee post on her and of course yours truly..Have a great wee day lad !
Hi Fred, I will have to go and check out your post. Thanks for dropping over and sharing in this musical tribute.
Good Morning Sharon, Thanks for dropping over. I love their music and their voices. They came to the US and got their start 4 years ago and America has embraced them and catapulted them to stardom. And so well deserved. For me, their music provides an inner peace that in our stressful industry, keeps me centered. They are such a breath of fresh air. The pure talent of blended majestic voices.
William you introduce me to them about 2 years ago, and I have been a fan ever since.
I would love to hear them in concert, such peaceful music to listen too.
Glad you got to go and thank you for the introduction.
Hi Missy,
I remember. I don't exactly remember the song that inspired the post but the Celtic Women have certainly gained in stature and national recognition. I loved this song and I thought of you when I when I wrote this post. I remember the number of amazing posts you wrote about the pride in our country and this song celebrates that.
We watch them on PBS once in awhile...amazing!
Woo Hoo, I have been thinking so much about you and certainly hope you are all doing OK. These women are just amazing with voices a pure and clear as angels.
William - I am also a fan of the Celtic Women! I haven't seen them live yet, but hope to one day! They appear often on our PBS station.
Hi Myrl,
I love their sound . This is the second message I left for since the first one disappeared. I get a little tense when I think about why we are all having so many proxy errors, that's when I also need this type of music to ease the anxiety a bit :-) .
I was also introduced to the Celtic women on PBS. But hopefully in May, I will experience them live here in San Diego.
William, I'm not familiar with the Celtic Women but my friend who lives in San Diego loves them. I will have to ask her if she is going.
Hi William! I'm a fan too--they have such beautiful voices and the music is just so moving! I'd love to hear them in concert too--perhaps some day they'll be in my neck of the woods!
Have a great Tuesday...
William,
Wonderful song, it seems that you always have to share something good for many of us ! :P also you are full of information, keep the good work my friend!
Hi Marchel, Thanks for dropping over. I am very sure you would appreciate the talent of the Celtic Women. They are amazing and I hope to see them in May.
Hi Debe, I am sure they will be . They are starting a new National tour. Hope you get to see them. Their concerts are spectacular.
Hi Ray, thank you so much. It is fun to share the things that are so wonderful. I loved that song. Must have played it a half dozen times.
Thanks for the song! It will be in my head all day. Just fantastic voices.
Hi William,
What a beautiful song! Goosebumps... what incredible voices! I am sorry to hear that you have been under the weather. I hope you are feeling better. Have a great Friday and enjoy your weekend.
Dawn
Hi Lizette, Me too. I couldn't agree more.
Hi Peter and Dawn,
Thank You, doing great. Another busy day anticipated as I catch up. These women are nothing short of amazing. The blends of sound and the talent is simply wonderful.
William - What a beautiful song! I love the Celtic Women and was introduced to them last year while I was scanning the channels and came upon one of their performances on PBS. They take my breath away with their incredible voices and music.
Hi Deena,
We all need to fill our lives with the beauty that surrounds us. At times when things seem confusing or difficult to scale, I resort to the sounds that fill me with beauty and joy. I especially love sounds like this when capturing my photos. One of best little treasures in life is my iPhone ( iPod ) and things just seem a little better to me and I reflect that in my life and especially in my attitude.

Hi Donna, They are really marvelous and thanks for dropping over and enjoying sharing their wonderful talents.
This was beautiful, William. And Ireland calls to me - I would so much like to visit there one day. My Great-grandmother was Irish.
Debi
I can get lost in this music. A great break away from a busy day. Thank you for sharing thee pretty ladies and their lovely music.
Hi Debi,
Glad you liked this. We share one more thing in common :-) I think I have some ancestors that were also Irish or had some Irish in them. Such a small country and so many in the world with Irish in their history. These Irish must have really gotten around a good bit back when, lol.
Hi Judi,
So glad so many have enjoyed this. Their musical talent and performance style is so simple and yet so pleasing. There are 5 Women, 4 that sing and one that plays the violin. A great group to be sure.
I love celtic women and this song is wonderful. A great way to transition from the end of the weekend to the beginning of a new one.
Good Morning Joan,
Thank you for your nice comment and so appreciate your way of expressing it.
William,
Late to the party, but better late... I'm new to this group, and I appreciate your fine introduction. Many thanks!
Mike in Tucson
Hi Mike, They are special and you won't regret it if you love great talent and I am positive you do.
